# Delete your account

> Close your Noodle account and remove your data.

If Noodle is no longer for you, you can delete your account.

## Before you delete

1. [Export your data](/account/export) if you want a copy of your journal.
2. Cancel any active subscription in [Billing](/account/billing) if needed.

## Delete in the app

1. Open **Settings**.
2. Find the delete account option (under account or support-related settings).
3. Confirm the deletion.

Deletion is permanent. You will need a new account if you return later.

Email [support@noodle.health](mailto:support@noodle.health) from the address on your account if you cannot complete deletion in the app.
