# Quickstart

> Create your account and take your first steps in Noodle.

Get from signup to your first check-in, chat, or journal entry in a few minutes.

## 1. Create your account

1. Go to [app.noodle.health](https://app.noodle.health).
2. Enter your email and verify with the one-time code we send.
3. Set a password.

You can also start from [Get started](https://noodle.health) on the website.

## 2. Finish onboarding

Onboarding helps Noo meet you where you are. You will typically:

1. Choose an **intention** — what brings you here (for example, untangle your thoughts).
2. Pick a **personality** for how Noo sounds.
3. Choose a **therapeutic approach** (for example CBT-informed or mindfulness).
4. Set a **rhythm** — reminders and theme preferences.
5. Choose a **plan** — Free, Noodle+, or Lifetime.

You can change personality, approach, and reminders later in **Settings**.

## 3. Take a first step

On **Home**, try any of these:

    Tap the check-in card and choose how you feel: Rough, Low, Okay, Good, or Great. Add optional metrics or tags if you want.

  <Step title="Start a chat">
    Open **Chat** and tell Noo whatever is on your mind. There is no perfect first message.

  <Step title="Write an entry">
    Open **Journal** → **New entry**, or start from a **Prompt**.
  </Step>

## 4. Explore when you are ready

* Browse **Prompts** for writing starters.
* Open **Insights** after you have a few entries or check-ins.
* Use **Calendar** to see activity over time.
* On Noodle+, try a **voice** conversation with Noo.
