# Crisis & getting real help

> If you are in danger or need urgent support, use real-world help.

Noodle is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services now.

## Immediate danger

* Call your local emergency number.
* Go to the nearest emergency department if you can.

## Crisis lines (examples)

Resources vary by country. Common starting points:

* **International Association for Suicide Prevention** — [https://www.iasp.info/suicidalthoughts/](https://www.iasp.info/suicidalthoughts/)
* **Find a Helpline** — [https://findahelpline.com](https://findahelpline.com)

If you are in Australia, you can also look up services such as Lifeline and Beyond Blue through their official sites.

## How Noodle fits

Noo may share crisis resources when a conversation suggests you need them. That is not a diagnosis. Prefer a human crisis line or clinician when things feel urgent.

## After the crisis

When you are safe, Noodle can still be a place to write and talk gently — alongside professional care, not instead of it.
