# Journaling & entries

> Write freely in a calm journal — no streaks or scores.

Your **Journal** is for writing without pressure. There are no streaks, word-count goals, or productivity scores.

## Create an entry

1. Open **Journal**.
2. Tap **New entry** (or start from a [Prompt](/using/prompts)).
3. Write as much or as little as you want.
4. Save when you are done — you can return and edit later.

Entries live inside a **Journal** container (for example your personal journal). See [Journals](/using/journals) to organize multiple journals.

## Tips for writing

* Start mid-thought. You do not need a title or perfect structure.
* Use a prompt when the blank page feels heavy.
* Add tags if you like sorting by theme later.
* Come back the next day — unfinished is fine.

## Reflections

After you write, you can get gentle **reflections** on lines or passages. See [Reflections](/using/reflections).

## Export

You can export your journal data as Markdown. See [Export your data](/account/export).
