Journals are containers for entries. Most people start with a personal journal. You can add more if you want separate spaces (for example work stress vs. personal life).

Create or switch journals

  1. Open Journals in the sidebar (or from journal settings, depending on your layout).
  2. Select a journal to browse its entries.
  3. Create a new journal when you want a separate space.
New entries go into the journal you currently have selected.

Tips

  • Keep one journal if switching contexts adds friction.
  • Use tags inside a single journal if you only need light organization.
  • Export still covers your data — see Export your data.
